H.E. Mr. Liu Ning, Secretary of the CPC Guangxi Committee and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the People’s Congress of Guangxi, visited Brunei from 24th to 26th at the invitation of Ministry of Finance and Economy of Brunei. During the visit, Liu attended Groundbreaking Ceremony of the Muara Container Terminal Expansion Project, the 4th Brunei-Guangxi Economic Corridor Joint Cooperation Committee (BGEC JCC) Meeting and BGEC Trade-Investment Promotion in The BIMP-EAGA.

Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Finance and Economy II Dato Seri Setia Dr Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah, Minister of Primary Resources and Tourism Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Abdul Manaf bin Haji Metussin, Minister of Development Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Muhammad Juanda bin Haji Abdul Rashid, Minister of Transport and Infocommunications Pengiran Dato Seri Setia Shamhary bin Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Mustapha, and representatives of relevant enterprises attended the above events, and the two sides exchanged views on joint promotion of the construction of BGEC and local cooperation. Mr. Wang Haitao, Chargé d'affaires of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Brunei, accompanied and participated in the relevant activities.
