Chinese Consul General in Brisbane Ruan Zongze Attends the Taste of Queensland Networking Reception

On 27 August 2024, Chinese Consul-General in Brisbane Dr RUAN Zongze attended the Taste of Queensland networking reception for Chinese delegation.The event was organized by ACBC QLD and TIQ. Chair of TIQ Mr Daniel Gschwind, President of ACBC QLD Mr Stephen Abbot,CEO of ACBC QLD Mr Gerard Robb and Executive Director of Department of Agriculture and Fisheries Mr Elton Miller were present. They made positive comments on China-Queensland economic and trade cooperations. Deputy Consul-General LI Suyun and Deputy Consul SHI Wenhua accompanied.

On behalf of the Chinese Consulate-General, Dr Ruan expressed his congratulations on the successful organization of the event and welcomed 40 business representatives from China. He said that China is Queensland's largest trade partner and importer. As one of the world's largest economies, the Chinese economy maintains a 5 percent growth rate and has huge market demand. He is full of confidence in the future of China-Australia relation and believes that economic and trade cooperations between China and Queensland will yield new achievements continuously.
