On September 4, 2024, Chinese Ambassador Fei Mingxing welcomed a group of Matautu Primary School teachers and students at the Embassy, joined by teachers of the Confucius Institute of the National University of Samoa and young diplomats.

The teachers and students toured the Embassy premises, learned Chinese calligraphy and paper cutting, enjoyed the pipa  folk musics performance, demonstrated Samoan traditional weaving and performed Samoan dances.
