On 15th September, 2024, the first edition of the China Film Festival launching ceremony with the film Ride On was held at the Deepam Cinema.

Chinese Ambassador to Seychelles Ms. Lin Nan hoped that through this blend of contemporary Chinese films, Seychellois friends could get a glimpse of how ordinary Chinese people live and their fine sentiments. She stressed that China will further deepen cultural cooperation and people to people exchanges between our two countries, which will inject new impetus into the bilateral relations.
