On October 10, 2024, Ambassador Cui Aimin met with Sweden’s new Minister for Foreign Affairs Maria Malmer Stenergard. They exchanged views on the development of China-Sweden relations and other issues.

Both sides agreed that the two countries should strengthen people-to-people and friendly exchanges on the basis of mutual respect, equality and mutual benefit, further enhance understanding and mutual trust, continuously deepen practical cooperation in areas such as green and sustainable development, work together to move the bilateral relations forward, and deliver greater benefits to the two countries and two peoples.
