On November 4, Chinese Ambassador to Iran Cong Peiwu met with the Governor of Qazvin Province of Iran Mohammad Mehdi Alaei in Qazvin.

Ambassador Cong said that China is vigorously promoting Chinese modernization and continues to provide new opportunities and add new impetus to the development of countries around the world, including Iran, through high-quality development and high-standard opening up. China attaches great importance to local cooperation with Iran, which is of huge significance to the development of bilateral relations.

Alaei warmly welcomed Ambassador Cong's visit and appreciated China's great development achievements. He said that Qazvin Province is one of Iran's important economic and industrial provinces with a long history and rich culture, and is willing to deepen local friendly cooperation with China.
