On September 22, the CR5 mission of Dominica International Airport project, together with the the Chinese Association in Dominica, hosted a celebrating ceremony marking the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. Ambassador Chu Maoming, along with the all diplomats from the Chinese Embassy, attended the event. Around 130 people, including employees of Chinese enterprises in Dominica and representatives of the Chinese community, participated in the gathering.

In his remarks, Ambassador Chu briefly highlighted the significant achievements China has made over the past 75 years. He encouraged the Chinese community in Dominica to maintain their patriotic spirit, stay united, and contribute to the building of a modern socialist country, the national rejuvenation, and the development of China-Dominica relations.

Representatives from Chinese enterprises and community noted that the motherland serves as a strong backing for all overseas Chinese. They pledged to take concrete actions to contribute to their homeland and promote deeper cooperation and friendship between China and Dominica.

The event featured an array of cultural performances, including patriotic songs and talent shows by community members, as well as fun games. The lively and inspiring atmosphere made for a heartwarming celebration.
