Chinese Ambassador to Iran Cong Peiwu Meets with Jalalzadeh, Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister

On October 21, Chinese Ambassador to Iran Cong Peiwu meets with Jalalzadeh, Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister for Consular, Parliamentary, and Iranian Expatriates Affairs.

Ambassador Cong said that Chinese-style modernization is being further promoted, and China's economic is stable and making progress, which attracts more Iranians to do business and travel in China. With the joint efforts of both sides, people-to-people exchanges between China and Iran are becoming increasingly close and personnel exchanges are on the rise. China is willing to strengthen cooperation with Iran, to promote personnel exchanges between the two sides, safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of personnel, and help promote the high-level development of China-Iran relations.

Jalalzadeh said that the frequent personnel exchanges are an important manifestation of the positive development of Iran-China relations. Iran is pleased to see the two countries expand people-to-people exchanges and deepen pragmatic cooperation. Iran will continue to protect the safety and legitimate rights and interests of Chinese citizens and institutions in Iran and promote people-to-people exchanges between Iran and China to a new level.
