On 5th November, Ambassador Tong Defa attended 2024 Chinese Ambassador Scholarship Awarding Ceremony. Minister-Counsellor Li Yang from the Chinese Embassy in Ghana was also present.

Ambassador Tong encouraged Ghanaian students to better learn Chinese language and culture, inject new vitality into the educational and cultural exchanges and cooperation between China and Ghana.

Representative students of the three Confucius Institutes in Ghana thanked Ambassador Tong for awarding the scholarships, and expressing their commitment to continue to study Chinese language and promote Ghana-China bilateral relations.
