On November 10, 2024, Consul General Xu Wei visited Sistan and Baluchestan Province of Iran, met with the Deputy Governor for Economic Affairs Davood Shahraki, and the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Zahedan Ahmad Shenavaei. He also had a meeting with the heads of various departments of the provincial government and corporate representatives, and discussed the possibility of bilateral cooperation.

Consul General Xu said that the Sistan and Baluchestan province has great potential, and the Chinese Consulate General will actively promote a friendly cooperation with Sistan and Baluchestan. A good business environment and protection of the safety and legal rights of Chinese personnel and companies are what we expect the provincial government to provide. Iranian officials briefly introduced the provincial situation and expressed their willingness to promote cooperation with China in various fields and provide necessary support and assistance.
