On 1st December, H.E. Wang Yu, Chinese Ambassador to Somalia, visited the Mogadishu Abdiaziz Orphanage Center with donation of stationery, nutritional products, etc. Director General of the Mama Zahra Foundation Dr. Ramla Abdullahi, Mogadishu Deputy Mayor Mr. Abdiaziz Osman Mohamed and representatives of the orphanage attended the event.

Ambassador Wang said he was so glad to see so many innocent children with smile and joy. Last July, five children from the orphanage went to China to participate in the "Love in the Sunshine" Summer Camp for Children from China and Africa, and felt the sincere friendship between the two peoples. As a companion of African modernization, China is pleased to offer some necessary supports for the healthy growth of African children. He hoped that all the children will grow up well, study hard and devote themselves to the future development of Somalia and Chinese-Somalia friendship.

Representatives of the Mama Zahra Foundation, the Mogadishu government and orphanage center expressed heartfelt gratitude for the supports from the Chinese Embassy. The children beamed with pleasure, and burst into applause at times.
