On November 21, diplomats from Chinese Embassy in the Bahamas, led by Her Excellency Ambassador Yan Jiarong, visited the Hunan-Bahamas Agriculture Cooperation Project.

Ambassador Yan inquired about the progress of the Project and the challenges it encountered, praised the Project not only demonstrating China's advanced agricultural technology, but also making contributions to food security in the Bahamas. Yan encouraged Hunan agricultural experts to continue the training for locals, engaging in farms and agricultural schools, and to make the project known to more Bahamians, so as to promote the agricultural cooperation and bilateral relations between the two countries.
