Chinese Consul General in Belfast Li Nan Visits Derry City and Strabane District Council

On 19 November, Consul General Li Nan visited Derry City and Strabane District Council, and met with Mayor Cllr Lilian Seenoi-Barr.

The Consul General said that Derry City and Strabane District Council is the second largest city in Northern Ireland with a vibrant momentum for development in areas such as life science, information technology, tourism, culture, vocational education, and so on. The Consulate General is willing to play a bridging role to help the city deepen cooperation with its sister city Dalian, and benefit from China’s development opportunities.

The Mayor welcomed the Consul General’s visit, introduced the city's advantageous industries, and expressed her willingness to promote cooperation with China in various fields.
