On December 18, Consul & Head of Post Ren Faqiang of the Consulate of the People's Republic of China in Laoag visits Ilocos Sur. Ren meets with Governor Jerry Singson and exchanges views on promoting the cooperation in trade, education and agriculture between China's provinces and Ilocos Sur. Governor Singson pleasantly introduces his recent visit to China.

Ren also visits Vigan Nan Chong School and local overseas Chinese with New Year's wishes.
