On December 29th, the Liberian Overseas Chinese Chamber of Commerce (LOCCC) and the Liberia China Council for the Promotion of Peaceful National Reunification (CCPPR-Liberia) held the "New Year's Day Reception 2025 to Welcome the Spring Festival". Ambassador Yin Chengwu attended the event,  and more than 200 overseas Chinese including Qi Jinlong, President of LOCCC, and Hu Jieguo, President of CCPPR-Liberia participated.

Ambassador Yin extended festive greetings to everyone, reviewed the new achievements made in the country's construction this year, the new progress in safeguarding national reunification, and the new development of China-Liberia relations. He highly praised the contributions made by compatriots in Liberia to promoting bilateral relations and safeguarding national reunification, and stated that the embassy would continue to uphold the principle of people-centered diplomacy and strive to provide better services for the vast number of compatriots. 

Representatives of the overseas Chinese community took the floor one after another, thanked the embassy for its long-term care and support, expressed full confidence in the situation next year, and encouraged overseas Chinese compatriots in Liberia to seize opportunities, strengthen unity and work hand in hand.
