Chinese Consulate-General in Brisbane Holds Tourism Industry’s Conversation

On 10 January 2025, the Chinese Consulate-General in Brisbane held a tourism industry’s conversation with Dr Consul-General. Consul-General Dr Ruan Zongze had discussions with nearly 20 representatives from 14 tourism service companies in Queensland on topics including China-Australia/China-Queensland tourism cooperation, tourism safety, etc. 

Dr Ruan said that the continued development of China-Australia relations and China's further opening-up will provide favorable conditions for deepening China-Australia tourism cooperation. He hopes that all tourism service companies will continue to promote cultural exchanges between China and Australia through the development of two-way tourism between China and Australia, and prioritize the safety and legitimate rights of tourists, improving emergency plans, enhancing crisis management capabilities, and creating a safe tourism environment. 

Representatives of tourism service companies introduced the current development of tourism industry, agreeing that they would strengthen safety measures to provide tourists with a safe and pleasant travel experience.
