Chinese Consulate-General in Brisbane Holds Conversation with Dr Consul-General for Australia China Friendship Society Queensland Branch

On 13 January 2025, the Chinese Consulate-General in Brisbane held an Conversation with Dr Consul-General for Australia China Friendship Society Queensland Branch (ACFS QLD). Consul-General Dr Ruan Zongze exchanged views with ACFS QLD President Ms Karla Orellana, Secretary Dr Lu Ping and other committee members attended. Deputy Consul-General Mr Yang Chenqi and Deputy Consul-General Ms Li Suyun were present.

Dr Ruan said that China firmly adheres to the path of peaceful development, which brings enormous opportunities to Australia and other countries around the world. China advocates for respecting cultural diversity and promoting exchanges and mutual learning among civilizations. There is a broad consensus and cooperation foundation between China and Australia, and the two countries are mutually beneficial partners in many fields. A healthy and stable relationships serves the interests of the two peoples. He hopes the ACFS will continue to promote people to people exchanges between China and Australia, and bridge friendship between China and Australia.

President Orellana and members of the ACFS affirmed China's development achievements and expressed their commitment to promoting exchanges and dialogue, and enhancing Australia China friendship.
