Chinese Consul General in Belfast Li Nan Meets with Dr. Jayne Brady, the Head of Civil Service, Northern Ireland

On 13 January, Consul General Li Nan met with Dr. Jayne Brady,the Head of Civil Service of Northern Ireland. The two sides exchanged views on further deepening practical cooperation in various areas.

The Consul General highly appreciated the important contribution made by Dr. Jayne to the development of friendship between China and Northern Ireland. He said that the two sides have a solid foundation of cooperation and have achieved fruitful results in areas such as economy and trade, education, culture and tourism, and so on. We are willing to work with the NI side to promote cooperation, deepen exchanges in green economy, innovative development, academic research and other areas, enhance people-to-people exchanges, achieve more outcomes, and better benefit the people of both sides.

Dr. Jayne noted that the NI side attaches great importance to developing relations with China and looks forward to working closely with the Consulate General to strengthen economic and trade exchanges, expand cultural exchanges, and share development opportunities.
