On January24, the Chinese Embassy in Malaysia hosted its 2025 Chinese New Year Reception, gathering over a thousand guests, including Chinese Ambassador to Malaysia H.E. Ouyang Yujing, Speaker of the House of Representatives (Dewan Rakyat) of Malaysia Tan Sri Johari Abdul, along with Malaysia's government officials, political leaders, and members of various sectors, foreign envoys to Malaysia, local communities and diaspora group, as well as representatives of Chinese enterprises and international students in Malaysia.
