On January 27th, marking the arrival of the Chinese New Year of the Snake, the Chinese Consulate General in New York and Nasdaq co-hosted a Bell-Ringing Ceremony at Times Square to celebrate the Spring Festival. Consul General Chen Li and Deputy Consul General Ma Xiaoxiao were joined by executives from Nasdaq-listed companies, business leaders, media representatives, and Asian community members for the festivities.

The ceremony was broadcast live on Nasdaq’s giant electronic screen in Times Square, showcasing video clips introducing the China Media Group (CMG) Spring Festival Gala, watched annually by over 1 billion viewers worldwide.

New Yorkers and international tourists gathered beneath the glowing screen, sharing in the joyous celebrations and exchanging auspicious wishes for the new year.
