On January 28, Chinese Ambassador to PNG, H.E. Yang Xiaoguang visited projects undertaken by CRCG and CHEC, and sent New Year greetings to employees who stayed on the front lines during the Spring Festival.

At the project site, Ambassador Yang gave a positive evaluation of the good results achieved by Chinese enterprises in PNG. Ambassador Yang said that Chinese enterprises have been deeply involved in PNG, making important contributions to the local economic and social development and the joint construction of the Belt and Road Initiative, and have established a good image of Chinese enterprises that are trustworthy and quality-oriented. On the occasion of the New Year, the Embassy wishes the employees and their families a happy New Year and wishes all enterprises greater success in the new year.

During the visit, Ambassador Yang checked safety management work and required enterprises to further enhance safety awareness, ensure safe production, strengthen security measures, adhere to legal and compliant operations, effectively protect the legitimate rights and interests of workers, maintain good community relations, and make new contributions to promoting the China-PNG comprehensive strategic partnership.
