Chinese Ambassador to Liberia Yin Chengwu Attends the Groundbreaking Ceremony of the National Resource Center for Persons with Disabilities and Group of 77 Residence

On February 7, Yin Chengwu, Chinese Ambassador to Liberia, attended the Groundbreaking Ceremony of the National Resource Center for Persons with Disabilities and Group of 77 Residence. Yin made remarks in the presence of H.E. Mr. Joseph Nyuma Boakai,Sr., President of the Republic of Liberia, Hon. Mr. Jeremiah Kpan Koung, Vice President of the Republic of Liberia, Madam Synleseh Stephenie Dahn Koung, the Second Lady of the Republic of Liberia, members of diplomatic corps and international organizations, among others.

Yin congratulates the groundbreaking of the National Resource Center for Persons with Disabilities and Group of 77 Residence in Liberia. Yin said, it demonstrates the Liberian government's strong commitments to respecting and protecting human rights, especially that of the people with disabilities. Chinese side has a long-standing relations with the Group of 77, and will continue the exchanges and cooperation, so as to advance and deepen the friendship between the two countries.

President Boakai said, Liberia is concerned about every citizen, including persons with disabilities. The Liberian Government will do its utmost to fully manage national resources to transform the lives of persons with disabilities and to actively implement the Liberian ARREST Inclusive Development Agenda in order to move Liberia forward to a more inclusive, peaceful and prosperous country.
