On February 8, Chinese Consul General in Penang Zhou Youbin attended 2025 Kulim Chinese New Year Carnival. Kedah State Executive Councillor and State Legislative Assembly member for Kulim YB Wong Chia Zhen, President of the Kulim Municipal Council Dato' Haji Elmi Bin Yusoff, members of the Kulim Municipal Council Mr. Heh Khian Kiang and Mr. Ryan Ch'ng Kok Sheng, and representative of southern Kedah Chinese Associations Mr. Kim Tan also attended the event.
