From February 18 to 19, Chinese Ambassador to Jordan H.E. Chen Chuandong led the Chinese delegation to the Fourth General Assembly of the Digital Cooperation Organization and related events as a guest country.
In addressing the Assembly, Ambassador Chen highlighted China's advancements in the digital economy and emphasized the importance of openness, inclusiveness, solidarity, and collaboration in fostering a more sustainable and inclusive digital future for all. He underscored the need for collective efforts to address challenges, mitigate risks, and promote mutually beneficial outcomes.
On the sidelines of the assembly, Ambassador Chen engaged in discussions with delegation leaders from Saudi Arabia and other participating countries to explore opportunities for deeper collaboration in the digital economy. He also exchanged views with Jordanian Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship H.E. Eng.Sami Samarat, who chaired the conference, and Digital Cooperation Organization Secretary-General H.E. Dr.Deemah AlYahya on enhancing cooperation between China and the organization.
