On 22nd February, Ambassador Xiao Jianguo was invited to attend the Chinese New Year Lion Dance Ceremony of Chung Lian School in Sungai Liang.

Ambassador Xiao extended his new year’s greetings to all teachers and students of Chung Lian School and commended the school's efforts to overcome difficult conditions of ‘using containers as classrooms’ and stay committed to teaching Chinese, which reflects the spirit of perseverance. Ambassador Xiao said, the Embassy will continue to give necessary support to Chinese schools in Brunei and work together to contribute more to the exchanges of diverse cultures and the friendship between two countries.
