On February 25th, Charge d'Affaires a.i. Ms. He Fen met with Ibrahim Nasreen, Managing Director of the Public Service Media (PSM) of Maldives.

He Fen stated that under the strategic guidance of the two heads of state, China-Maldives relations have entered a fast track of development. PSM has played a positive role in objectively reporting and promoting China-Maldives friendly exchanges and the economic and social development of China, contributing to the friendly relations between the two countries. China is willing to take the opportunity of implementing the consensus of the two heads of state to further strengthen the exchange and cooperation between the media of both sides, and to promote the friendship between the two peoples.

Mr. Nasreen highly appreciated China’s long-standing contributions to the economic and social development of the Maldives. He expressed his gratitude for China’s support and assistance to PSM and expressed his desire to deepen exchanges and cooperation with the Chinese Embassy and Chinese mainstream media, contributing to the continued advancement of the China-Maldives comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership.
