H.E. Ambassador Cao Xiaolin published a signed article on Al Jazeera Arabic website titled The U.S. 'Gaza Prescription' Is Not Conducive to Peace" on March 5. The article points out that the U.S. plan to "clean out" and "take over" Gaza poses a serious threat to peace and stability in the Middle East. Gaza is the homeland of the Palestinian people and an inseparable part of Palestinian territory, not a "large real estate plot" for sale or trade, nor should it become a victim of international political maneuvering.

If the U.S. were to "take over" Gaza and forcibly relocate its residents, it would constitute a blatant seizure of Palestinian land, a grave violation of Palestinian sovereignty, and a serious breach of international law and the global order. Such actions would further escalate tensions and conflicts between Israel and Palestine, potentially causing a historic setback in the peace process.

As a permanent member of the UN Security Council and a responsible major Country, China will continue to actively contribute to resolving the Palestinian issue. China supports the implementation of the "two-state solution" and remains committed to promoting a comprehensive, just, and lasting resolution to the Palestinian issue.
