Chinese Consul General in Perth Long Dingbin Attends Guangzhou Baiyun Airport & Perth Airport Sister Airport Signing Ceremony

On March 25, 2025, accompanied by Consul Wang Shuwei, Consul General Long Dingbin attended the sister airport signing ceremony between Guangzhou Baiyun Airport and Perth Airport. Jason Waters, CEO of Perth Airport, Andrew Hogg, General Manager of Tourism Australia Greater China Market, Zhu Qianhong, General Manager of Guangdong Airport Authority, and Qi Yaoming, Deputy General Manager of Guangzhou Baiyun Airport, and other guests attended the ceremony.

Consul General Long congratulated Guangzhou Baiyun Airport and Perth Airport on the establishment of the sister airport relationship, thanked the two airports for their contribution to promoting people-to-people exchanges and economic and trade cooperation between China and Western Australia, said that China Australia relations have continued to stabilize and improve in recent years, hoped that both sides could further deepen cooperation with the establishment of sister airport relationship, promised that the Consulate General would continue to provide support.

The signing ceremony was held during Routes Asia 2025 conference, more than 40 Chinese companies including Baiyun Airport and China Southern Airlines attended the conference. Consul General Long visited relevant exhibition booths. The Routes Asia 2026 conference will be held in Xi'an, China.
