On March 22, Chinese Ambassador to Samoa Fei Mingxing attended the sports event in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between China and Samoa, at the invitation of Mr. Dino Smith, President of Samoa Badminton Federation.

Honorable Laumatiamanu Ringo Purcell, Samoan Minister of Sports and Recreation also attended the event and addressed the participants. More than 100 Chinese and Samoan sports enthusiasts participated in the one-day event.
