Chinese Consul General in Brisbane Ruan Zongze Meets with the Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland Mr Jon Krause MP

On 23 April, 2025,Consul-General of the People’s Republic of China in Brisbane Dr Ruan Zongze extended a courtesy call to Mr Jon Krause, Deputy Speaker of the Queensland Parliament, and exchanged views on enhancing China-Queensland friendship and promoting practical cooperation. Vice Consul Ms Sun Ruoxi was present.

Dr Ruan said that China is Queensland's largest trading partner, and  steady China-Queensland relations benefits the people on both sides. The Consulate-General is committed to creating platforms for exchanges and cooperation in areas such as trade, education, science and technology, and culture.

Deputy Speaker Krause expressed his willingness to maintain communication with the Chinese side, safeguard the achievements of the China-Queensland friendship, and promote deeper exchanges and cooperation across various fields.
