On 24 April 2025, H.E. Ambassador Yan Jiarong met with Hon. Senator Darron Pickstock, Executive Chairman of Bahamas Agricultural Industrial Corporation (BAIC). The two sides exchanged views on global and regional political and economic issues, Bahamas economic outlook, food security, bilateral agricultural cooperation as well as capacity building. Mr. Peng Jing, commercial attaché of the Embassy was also present.
