On April 28, Chinese Ambassador to the Maldives H.E. Kong Xianhua attended the symposium of Chinese enterprises in Maldives, Mr. Zhang Xu, Counselor of Chinese Embassy and the heads of Chinese enterprises in Maldives were present.

Ambassador Kong listened to the reports of Chinese enterprises on production, operation and work plan, and delivered a speech. Ambassador Kong first conveyed the spirit of the central conference on work related to neighboring countries, and emphasized that all Chinese enterprises should further improve their political stance, enhance their sense of mission, honor and responsibility, do a good job, lead a good team, and seek good development, attach importance to safety and high quality to complete the projects in Maldives, and implement the important consensus of the two heads of state with practical actions, and contribute to the development of the "Belt and Road" jointly built by China and Maldives.
