On April 29, 2025, Ambassador Cui Aimin visited representatives of Chinese students in Gotland and held discussions with them.

Ambassador Cui briefed the students on the latest developments in the pursuit of Chinese modernization through high-quality development, as well as the current international situation and China’s foreign policy. He asked about the students’ academic progress and daily lives, reminded them to abide by local laws, stay safe and work diligently while studying abroad, and keep up with the times with a progressive mindset, and encouraged them to contribute to the friendship between the Chinese and Swedish peoples and promoting China-Sweden friendly cooperation.

The students expressed their gratitude for the care and support by the embassy. They said that they would continue to improve themselves, stay motivated, serve as ambassadors of Chinese culture, storytellers of China, and promoters of China-Sweden relations, and shine in their youth by contributing to the prosperity of their motherland and fostering cultural and people-to-people exchange between China and Sweden.
