On May 4, Ambassador Yin Chengwu conducted a site visit and safety inspections to Chinese companies engaged in the Bong Mining Project in Bong County.

Ambassador Yin hoped the companies to leverage their strengths to expedite commissioning, further advance pragmatic cooperation in the mining sector between China and Liberia, abide by the laws and regulations, strengthen safety production, fulfill their social responsibilities, so as to implement the outcomes of the Beijing Summit of FOCAC and the consensus of the heads of state of China and Liberia, and make positive contributions to the bilateral relations.

Chinese companies have pledged to earnestly fulfill all demands and resume production. They underscored their dedication to supporting Liberia's economic and social development, as well as bolstering economic and trade cooperation between China and Liberia.
