On May 17th, H.E. Wang Yu, Chinese Ambassador to Somalia, met with H.E. Abdikhadir Ahmed Aw-Ali (Firdhiye), Leader of SSC-Khatumo of Somalia.

Ambassador Wang said that China and Somalia both have the historic mission of safeguarding national sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity, and the two countries should continue to support each other and strengthen the cooperation in this regard.

Firdhiye said that SSC-Khaatumo of Somalia adheres to the one-China principle and firmly opposes any actions that harm China's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
