On May 21, 2025, Ambassador Cui Aimin met with Jan-Ingvar Jönsson, Vice-Chancellor of Linköping University. They exchanged views on strengthening education and scientific research cooperation between China and Sweden.

Ambassador Cui highlighted China’s latest achievements in fully implementing its strategy of building a strong educational system and promoting high-quality development. He congratulated Linköping University on its 50th anniversary and commended the university’s accomplishments in fostering China-Sweden cooperation in education and scientific research, talent cultivation, and personnel exchanges. He expressed hope that the university would continue to strengthen its practical cooperation with China.

Vice-Chancellor Jönsson introduced the development of Linköping University in terms of academic disciplines and collaboration between industries, universities and research institutes, as well as its ongoing cooperation with Chinese institutions. He affirmed that the university is willing to further advance in-depth exchanges and collaboration between Sweden and China in the fields of education and scientific research.
