Head of the Chinese Mission to the EU Ambassador Cai Run Presents His Letter of Credence to President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen

On May 20, 2025, Ambassador Cai Run, Head of the Chinese Mission to the European Union, presented his Letter of Credence to President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen.

Ambassador Cai conveyed President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Qiang’s kind regards and best wishes to President von der Leyen, who also expressed her appreciation and asked Ambassador Cai to convey her sincere greetings and best wishes to President Xi and Premier Li.

Previously, Ambassador Cai presented his Letter of Credence to then President of the European Council Charles Michel on November 14, 2024.
