On May 21,  Consul General Guo Shaochun and his wife, Madame WangWei hosted 2025 Tea for Harmony Yaji Cultural Salon at the Consulate General of China in Los Angeles. Guests from various sectors within the consular district had a fully immersive experience of Chinese tea culture. 

In his remarks, Consul General Guo highlighted that tea represents harmonious coexistence between human and nature.As a symbolic element of Chinese culture, tea is deeply embedded in the daily lives of the people. Noting that tea has played a significant role in the history of China-U.S. relations, he expressed hope that everyone could experience the Chinese tea culture and work together to promote mutual understanding, people to people exchanges, and mutually beneficial cooperation .

The event featured a variety of cultural activities, including performances of tea artistry, folk songs, Peking Opera and so on.Warm and friendly, the guests were deeply impressed by this event,in particular the affinity and cohesion of Chinese tea culture.
