On May 31, the Vienna “Friendship Cup” Permanent Missions mini-football tournament was successfully held. The Permanent Representative of China to the United Nations Office in Vienna and other international organizations, H.E. Ambassador LI Song, led a team to participate in the tournament and kicked off the match with Russian Ambassador Dmitry Liubinsky. Ten teams from China, Russia, Egypt, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Iran, Kazakhstan, Serbia, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan participated in the tournament.

Diplomats from the Chinese Permanent Mission as well as Chinese employees from the Vienna-based international organizations formed a team to participate in the tournament.
