On 4th June, H.E. Ambassador Xiao Jianguo met with the Global Competence Overseas Practicum Course Brunei Team from Tsinghua University led by Professor Hu Yu, Dean of the Institute of Cultural Creativity and Development of Tsinghua University, along with students from different academies.

Ambassador Xiao provided an in-depth overview of the latest development of China-Brunei relations and fruitful results of bilateral cooperation in areas such as youth, culture and education. He spoke highly of Tsinghua University’s efforts to broaden students’ global perspectives and to help tell well China’s stories through the Global Competence Overseas Practicum Program. Ambassador Xiao expressed his hope that Tsinghua University would continue to leverage its strengths to implement the important consensus reached by the two heads of state by deepening inter-university exchanges with institutions in Brunei, so as to contribute to the building of a China-Brunei community with a shared future.

Ambassador Xiao also engaged in a warm interaction with the delegates.
