On June 10th, Ambassador Zhao Xiyuan met with Mr. Gerard Keown, Political Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, with Director General Iseult Fitzgerald of the Asia-Pacific Unit at DFA also present. 

They exchanged views on China-Ireland and China-EU relations, the global economic and trade issues, international and regional issues of mutual concern, and ways to enhance cooperation within multilateral framework such as the United Nations.
