Chinese Ambassador to Sweden Cui Aimin Attends the Second China-Sweden Life and Health Industry Seminar

On June 10, 2025, Ambassador Cui Aimin attended the second China-Sweden Life and Health Industry Seminar co-hosted by the Embassy and SWECARE. The event was chaired by Anna Riby, Regional Director of SWECARE. Ambassador Cui and Zhou Tufa, Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology of Zhejiang Province, delivered opening remarks. More than 20 representatives from the Swedish industry, academia and research institutions participated in the event.

Ambassador Cui highlighted China’s new achievements in the high-quality development of its healthcare sector, emphasizing the huge potential for cooperation between China and Sweden in related fields. He expressed China’s willingness to jointly explore paths of mutually beneficial cooperation and contribute to the advancement of global health. Deputy Director Zhou presented Zhejiang’s strategic goals and accomplishments in building a hub of life and health scientific innovation, and welcomed representatives from Swedish industry, academia and research institutions to visit Zhejiang for exchanges and collaboration.

Heads of Zhejiang Provincial Science and Technology Cooperation Center and local science parks, and Professor Christer Rolf from Sweden’s Karolinska Institute gave their reports. Participants engaged in online exchanges and interactions.
