On June 10, 2025, Chinese Consul General Xu Wei met with Chairman of Iran-China Friendship Association Alaeddin Boroujerdi in Tehran.

Both sides exchanged in-depth views on topics such as deepening bilateral friendship, strengthening subnational cooperation and expanding people-to-people exchanges, and expressed the willingness to further enhance cooperation in all fields and forge a closer bond between the two peoples.
