On June 16th, Ambassador Tong Defa attended the medical equipment donation ceremony by the 14th China Medical Team, together with Minister for Health Hon. Kwabena Mintah Akandoh.

Ambassador Tong emphasized that health is a vital area of friendly cooperation between China and Ghana. The donation demonstrates our joint efforts in building a China-Ghana community with a shared future. China stands ready to deepen cooperation with Ghana in medical training, healthcare assistance, public health infrastructure and other fields.

Hon. Kwabena Mintah Akandoh expressed profound gratitude for the Chinese government's consistent support and assistance in Ghana's healthcare development, describing this donation as "a powerful testament to the enduring strength of China-Ghana partnership".

Ambassador Tong and Hon. Kwabena Mintah Akandohsigned the handover certificates on behalf of the Chinese and Ghanaian governments.
