On June 19th, 2025, Consul General Mr. Liu Jun paid a visit to H.E. Safeen Dizayee, Head of the Kurdistan Regional Government’s (KRG) Department of Foreign Relations.

During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on the latest developments in the regional situation and discussed ways to further promote pragmatic cooperation across various fields.

CG Liu also briefed on China’s principled position regarding efforts to de-escalate the situation in the Middle East at the earliest possible time.
