On June 17th, 2025, Chinese Acting Consul General in Willemstad Mr. Wang Fanfu met with Curacao Social activist, historian and online influencer Mr. Tico Vos. Both sides exchanged views on the economic and social development, history and culture of China and Curacao.

Wang introduced the background of The International Day for Dialogue Among Civilizations, which initiated by China and other 82 countries and declared by UN. Wang expressed that dialogue among civilizations is a bond of peace, a driver for development, and a bridge of friendship, and that this initiative demonstrates China’s another effort to strengthen international people-to-people exchanges and cooperation. 

 Mr. Vos expressed the willingness to enhance the communication and coordination with the Consulate-General, promoting cultural exchanges and bilateral amity between Curacao and China.
