Consul General Chen Shijie has recently published a signed article on the quarterly journal of the New Zealand Business Roundtable in China, entitled “Chinese Modernization: A New Option for Achieving Modernization”.
The article highlights that Chinese modernization, under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, is a development path deeply rooted in Chinese civilization, centered on the people, and committed to common prosperity, green development, cultural heritage, and win-win cooperation. This model not only benefits China but also offers a new option for global modernization. Looking ahead, China is willing to share development opportunities with all countries, including New Zealand, to achieve mutual benefits and jointly build a community with a shared future for mankind.
The New Zealand Business Roundtable in China was established in 2018 with the mission of facilitating New Zealand businesses' economic and trade cooperation with China. It provides member companies with policy analysis, market research, and networking support. Its membership includes leading New Zealand enterprises such as Zespri, Fonterra, Silver Fern Farms, and a2 Milk Company.
