On 25 June 2025, Her Excellency Yan Jiarong, Chinese Ambassador to The Bahamas, met with His Excellency Claudio Raja Gabaglia Lins, Brazilian Ambassador to The Bahamas. The two sides exchanged views on the political and economic situation in The Bahamas and the region, their respective countries' policies toward The Bahamas and bilateral cooperation, China-Brazil relationship and BRICS cooperation.
