On July 3, 2025, Mr. Pan Qingjiang, Consul General of China in Johannesburg, attended the Gauteng Agroprocessing Convention and Expo. During the event, Mr. Pan engaged with Mr. Lebogang Maile, MEC for finance and economic development, and Ms. Vuyiswa Ramokgopa, MEC for agriculture and rural development, as well as representatives of relevant organizations and chambers on the growth of the sector and future bilateral cooperation.
