Chinese Embassy in Canada Holds "Hello! China – World Heritage Sites in China" Tourism Promotion Event

On July 4, 2025, the Chinese Embassy in Canada and the China National Tourist Office in Toronto held a tourism promotion event-"Hello! China – World Heritage Sites in China"-at the Embassy. H. E. Wang Di, Chinese Ambassador to Canada, Mr. Claude Boivin, Interim President & CEO of the Tourism Industry Association of Canada, Ms. Amy Butcher, Vice-President of the Association, Ms. Wu Ning, Director of China National Tourist Office in Toronto, and over 60 Canadian guests were present.

In his remarks, Ambassador Wang underscored"China Travel"s  unique appeal from the perspectives of  China's history, present and future respectively. Highlighting China's willingness to strengthen people-to-people exchanges with Canada, he encouraged more Canadians to visit China. The China National Tourist Office in Toronto delivered an intricate presentation on China's tourism resources focusing on UNESCO World Heritage sites and cross-border travel facilitation policies. Several guests shared their memorable travel experiences in China, calling on more Canadians to explore the country's vibrant and dynamic charm in all dimensions firsthand.

The event featured rounds of applause and laughter in a friendly atmosphere. Attendees also enjoyed photo exhibitions on Chinese tourism and the 55 years of diplomatic relations between China and Canada, savoured Chinese tea, and appreciated cultural and creative works from China.
